Girls & Graffiti workshop

Art & Soul Collective from Mombasa received a grant from EUNIC Kenya, collaborating with Graffiti Girls Kenya. They hosted a workshop called "Girls and Graffiti" to encourage women's involvement in public art. Maryam Suleiman and Smokillah, founder of Graffiti Girls, were instrumental in leading the initiative. Together, they created a stunning wall mural titled "Women in Mombasa." This collaboration empowered women artists and inspired others to explore public art.

Duos Festival workshop

The third edition of the TPAAE (Transcultural Perspectives in Art & Art Education) DUOS festival took place as a collaborative art project between artists from Szccezin, Poland, and Kilifi/Mombasa, Kenya. The festival was organized in conjunction with Alliance Francaise de Mombasa, with a specific focus on the theme of Social Ecology.

Leading the DUOS team in art in public space were Joseph Allan Green and Rafal Zarski. They skillfully guided a team of interns, including Maryam Suleiman, in conducting an engaging workshop as part of the festival.
